The Master and the Apprentice. Episode i
Always two there are. No more, no less. A master and an apprentice” – Yoda.
Ahem sorry. Lost my way there a bit.
So…. the master : Graham Howe.
In a previous post, I mentioned that my site had been hacked and that I enlisted the help of a fantastic web developer to sort it out. This guy was relentless in his pursuit of the malicious code and worked incredibly hard getting rid of it and made some very clever changes to my site to prevent it from ever getting anywhere near my WP files should it rear it’s ugly head again.
I’d like to formally recommend him should anyone be in a similar situation or in fact need any web development work
His website is https://gdhdev.co.uk/ and you can also find him via linked in https://www.linkedin.com/in/grahamdhowe/
Here’s what Graham says about himself:
I am a full-stack web developer based in Cornwall, UK. I have several years of experience working with enterprise-level platforms, content management systems, eCommerce solutions and bespoke sites. I would be more than happy to talk over any problems or thoughts you might have in regards to your site and provide you with an objective, no-nonsense look at your situation and options in terms of moving forward.
Some things I’m happy to help with are:
Site maintenance and updates.
PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS development work.
Hosting platforms, web servers and databases.
Technical consultancy and advice.
Static site creation as a low cost, low effort solution for your first web
presence.
Wordpress setup and theme/plugin install.
I’m straightforward and upfront and in the unlikely event I can’t help you, I’ll let you know and advise you on the best course of action to take.
For my part I’d like to focus on Graham’s excellent communication skills. He has a knack for cutting through jargon and he takes his work seriously whilst still having a good sense of humour. I really cannot recommend him highly enough.
As to the apprentice, you’ll have to wait till the sequel! Stay tuned folks!
